Because we want to give each home the attention of a true personal chef. Limiting the service ensures consistency, customization, and sustainability for both sides.
-
No. This is not a mass menu system or “a la carte ordering.” It’s a curated chef service, reserved for a very small number of households.
-
Menus are fully customizable for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, low-sodium, allergies and most any dietary requirements.
-
Meals are designed to stay fresh for 3–4 days when refrigerated. For larger bundles, we may schedule two deliveries per week (Sunday + Wednesday) to ensure maximum freshness. Freezer-friendly dishes will also be noted on the menu.
-
Yes. During membership, you can adjust your weekly rhythm (for example, adding extra breakfasts during the school year or scaling back when you’re traveling). All changes must be submitted by Friday at 5 PM.
-
You may pause your membership for up to 3 weeks per quarter with advance notice. Beyond that, we recommend reapplying when your household schedule allows.
-
We’ll communicate 2-3 weeks in advance if delivery schedules will shift due to holidays. If you’re traveling for the summer, you can pause your bundle for up to 2 months.
-
Members can request past favorites and make special requests, which will be worked into your upcoming menus whenever possible. There will be a place to make such weekly requests in the member-only weekly meal form.
-
We do our best to honor special requests! If we receive them before the weekly cutoff (Friday 5 PM), they can often be included in your bundle. Requests after the cutoff will be accommodated at the chef’s discretion.
-
Yes. Your reusable Container Kit is yours to keep. We’ll swap and sanitize sets weekly, but if your membership ends, the containers remain with you.
-
Members must provide a card on file and are charged weekly for their custom bundle. Add-ons are included in the same invoice so everything is seamless.
-
Membership begins at $500 per week. This minimum ensures that each household receives the level of detail, consistency, and personalization that defines The Personal Chef Edit. Because this is not a mass meal delivery service, but a boutique chef membership limited to just a few families, the weekly minimum allows us to:
Source the highest quality ingredients without compromise
Allocate dedicated chef time and attention to your household
Maintain consistent menu planning, prep, and delivery standards
Provide premium, reusable packaging (swapped and sanitized weekly).
-
Yes. We use organic produce whenever possible, with an emphasis on seasonal and local. Our pantry staples are non-GMO, and we cook exclusively with clean oils like olive, avocado, and coconut.
-
All meats are free-range and pasture-raised, and we source farm eggs locally when available. Seafood is always wild-caught, never farmed.
-
Never. All sauces, dressings, marinades, and broths are made in-house from scratch. Meals are prepared with whole, clean ingredients and designed to stay fresh naturally for several days.
-
Each household receives a dedicated set of premium glass and bento containers. All containers are BPA-free, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and air-fryer safe. They’re swapped and sanitized weekly — no disposables, no waste.
-
Because sustainability matters and we now have the chance to be a part of the solution rather than contributing to the “plastics problem”. Premium glass containers preserve food better, protect your health (no plastic leaching), and elevate the experience. Plus, they’re eco-friendly — containers are yours to keep if your membership ends.
